🎭 SALAMMBÔ returns, a quarter of a century later
Created in Lyon in the early 2000s and inspired by Gustave Flaubert’s novel, the Salammbô musical soundtrack was originally written for a stage production bringing together nearly thirty performers, combining music, song, dance and theatre.
At a time when the digital age was still in its infancy, the work had never truly moved beyond the stage.
A quarter of a century later, Salammbô returns to its audience.
A 7-track EP, featuring selections from the musical’s 25 original songs, is now available to stream.
For this new production, artificial intelligence was used as a production tool, working from the original scores, lyrics and archives, allowing the work to find a new voice without altering its original writing or composition.
